About Us

Hi there! My name is Jean Gabriel, I’m a musician with over 15 years of experience in the music industry.

Originally from South Africa, I’ve spent the last few years traveling and now live in London. I studied drums, percussion and piano at the National School of the Arts. Over the last few years, I’ve tackled mastering Acoustic Guitar, Ukelele and Bass Guitar too.

My mission on this site is to help you find everything you need to enjoy playing a musical instrument.

I’ve been lucky enough to work with some amazing people over the years. I’ve discovered some amazing tips, tricks and gear along the way.

On this site, I’ll share all my experience and knowledge with you.

How I Create Content

All the content on this site is researched, planned and edited by me. I do get some help from freelance writers on occasion who help to put together some of the articles.

But, all information shared has passed through me, the chief editor. This ensures all information we publish is accurate. You can trust our content to make the right purchasing decisions.

We try to get our hands on all the items mentioned in this blog to get real life experience. It is not always possible, so I also rely on extensive research through online feedback from real customers.

I also spend a lot of time visiting music stores and talking to other musicians to get to know all the items which are on offer and which ones may be of interest to you.

All in all, I want this site to be a place you can trust and that is not influenced by brand sponsorship so you can use all the information to make the best decisions for yourself when it comes to buying the right gear.
